The next step up for players in our junior leagues and coaching programmes is to gain selection for the Representative Coaching Programme during the winter.Players are selected  for this by a coaching panel which is based on performances in the local leagues, what the coaches know about the players, past performances, attitude and commitment. The summer squads are normally selected in April.The squads at each age group typically consist of 14-16 players who then represent the Island in matches, tours and festivals both on and off Island.Island squad selection is never a closed shop and players will be added at any time during the year if their performances merit this.
